Accessibility of the Public Consultation Website

The SAAQ makes its website accessible to people with disabilities or various difficulties.

Government standards on web accessibility

Accessibility enables people with disabilities or special problems to have access to information on the web.

We are committed to ensuring that our site and all its content complies with the government of Québec’s web accessibility standards (in French only). Most of our site’s current content complies with these standards.

Barriers to accessibility

Some content does not comply entirely with the standards:

  • the SAAQ acronym, which is not defined: it stands for Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec
  • some video and audio content
  • some PDF documents

Verification of accessibility

Our site has been verified using the following technologies:

  • NonVisual Desktop (NVDA), version 2015.4
  • Firefox 50
