After the Consultation

The comments, suggestions and ideas that were shared with us from January 9 to March 3, 2017—during the regional consultation sessions, in the documents we received (briefs, letters and other documents) and in the answers to the online questionnaire—have been analyzed by the SAAQ and the Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports (MTMDET).

Public Consultation Summary Document

In addition to recapping the consultation’s objectives and approach, the summary document also provides some fast facts that give an overview of participation.

The next step will be to file recommendations with the Minister of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Transport Electrification. These recommendations will serve as the basis for a bill amending the Highway Safety Code.
